Recently, Mercedes-Benz organized the competition of Pioneering Digitalization Award 2025. “BBAC LOG Management Digital Cockpit”, which was recommended by BBAC Innovation Management Platform, stood out from numerous innovative projects and won the first place globally in the category of "Digital Twin".

This competition focuses on “Pioneering Digitalization”, and the award is designed to recognize and celebrate innovative projects that significantly contribute to Mercedes-Benz digital transformation journey.

The awarded project “BBAC LOG Management Digital Cockpit” was independently developed by digital innovation team composed of BBAC LOG team and IT team. BBAC LOG was facing the challenges of diversified and highly integrated business, large business data flow, and scattered data in business management. To address these challenges, the project team achieved fully automatic connection between AmSupply and local digital platforms for the first time by Cloud Storage and Cloud Computing. And through automated data analysis functions, PowerBI visualization dashboards were constructed to provide intelligent insights into overall performance of logistics operation chain. The launch of the first phase of "Cockpit" helps promote 20% data analysis efficiency and significantly optimizes turnover rate of warehouse. In addition, the project has assisted in cost management decisions through real-time warning mechanisms, effectively promotes the land of digital transformation, cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the department.

At present, the project team is accelerating the construction of second phase of "Cockpit", planning to create digital twin virtual warehouses which can simulate warehouse location dynamics and logistics paths, integrate AI robots to automatically generate report and share analysis results, further improving operation efficiency. Additionally, the accuracy of material flow will also be improved with refining KPI monitoring at warehouse level.

This award not only demonstrates the independent innovation capability of the BBAC team, but also provides a replicable practical model for digital transformation of Mercedes Benz's global supply chain. With the implementation of second phase, the “BBAC LOG Management Digital Cockpit” will continue to deepen intelligent applications, improve production and operation efficiency, and set a new benchmark for digital upgrading in the industry.
