BBAC Shunyi Plant Was Included in the List of Beijing Advanced Smart Factories

On May 13, 2025, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology released the First Batch of Beijing Advanced Smart Factories for 2025, with BBAC Shunyi Plant included in the list for its outstanding performance in the fields such as intelligent manufacturing and digital innovation. This is the second time that BBAC appears in the list, after its BDA Plant was recognized as Beijing Smart Factory in 2022, signifying the renewed authoritative recognition of BBAC's benchmark status in the development of intelligent production systems in Beijing.
It is reported that this selection focuses on core dimensions such as enterprises' digital and networked integration capabilities, intelligent manufacturing scenario applications, and collaborative production and operation management and control, aiming to identify the enterprises that have achieved outstanding results in the development of smart factories in aspects such as factory construction, R&D design, production operation, production management and operation management, so as to promote the digital, networked and intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry in Beijing.
For a long time, BBAC has been comprehensively promoting the application of the Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations 360 (MO360) system, striving to set an all-new benchmark for highly digital and intelligent automobile production. By utilizing advanced technologies such as big data, high-performance 5G wireless networks and artificial intelligence to deeply integrate information technology with manufacturing technology, it has established a full-process “intelligent manufacturing” system encompassing intelligent procurement, intelligent production planning, intelligent logistics, intelligent production, intelligent quality control and intelligent maintenance. It has achieved an order-oriented and data-driven intelligent production mode with deep integration between automation and information technology, as well as close collaboration between humans and machines.
