[25th, April, Beijing] The 15th Auto China 2018 was successfully held with a grand opening ceremony in Beijing International Exhibition Center today. The All new Mercedes-Benz A Class sedan, which is especially for Chinese market has its debut and becomes the focus with its “Sensibility • Pure” design and extraordinary intelligent human-car interaction experience. As the first sedan in the new generation of Mercedes-Benz, also the first model with the MBUX intelligent man-machine interactive system and the first to adopt the new design concept, all new Mercedes-Benz A Class vehicle has a memorable design that explains the evolution of the "Sensibility • Pure" design concept. It will provide consumers an innovative new choice that combines both appearance and strength to evoke emotional resonance, and will become a new market benchmark for Chinese consumers, especially for the young groups of them. More importantly, the new A Class sedan is also the first model that completed its tested assembling at the Null Series overseas of Daimler. In 2017, the only Daimler's overseas Pilot Plant was launched in Beijing. It is not only responsible for the development and testing of new models and the formulation of processing standards, but also carrying the important mission to accelerate the introduction of new models and enlarge localization production. In addition, a new generation of long wheelbase C-Class sedan is also having their World Premiere at this auto show. It created a new product combination of Mercedes-Benz with new A-Class sedan, long wheelbase E-Class sedan, GLA SUV and GLC SUV, blossoming in the Auto Show! BBAC continues to maintain the high-speed development situation in the first quarter of 2018, with an output of 116,800 vehicles and double-digit increase in the year-on-year growth of production and sales since its output reached unprecedented 430,000 in 2017.
