A Proposal for 2013 World Environment Day from BBAC

2013年6月5日是第42个世界环境日。根据联合国环境署的环境日主题“思前，食后，厉行节约（THINK．EAT．SAVE）”及中国环境日主题“同呼吸 共奋斗”，结合北京奔驰实际情况，2013年环境日主题确定为“倡导清洁生产，践行资源节约 (PROMOTE CLEANER PRODUCTION & SAVING RESOURCE)”，旨在释放和传递建设绿色企业，节约资源的信息。倡导每一位北京奔驰的员工都应该树立保护生态环境的理念，增强节约意识和清洁生产意识，养成健康绿色环保的工作和生活方式，激发员工的环保热情，为建设绿色的北京奔驰而奋斗。 June 5th, 2013 is the 42nd World Environmental Day. According to UN’s World Environmental Day theme ‘THINK．EAT．SAVE’ and Chinese World Environmental Day theme ‘BREATHING TOGETHER, STRIVING TOGETHER’, BBAC 2013 World Environmental Day theme is ‘PROMOTE CLEANER PRODUCTION & SAVING RESOURCE’ which is use to convey the information of building green company and saving energy. We hope every BBAC’s employee should have strong environmental protection in mind and continuously enhance our saving awareness and cleaner production awareness. We should form a green live and work habit and striving for a green BBAC. 北京奔驰环境方针是： BBAC Environmental Policy is: 北京奔驰秉承实现绿色制造，走可持续发展之路的理念，向社会郑重承诺： BBAC adheres to the philosophy of green manufacturing and sustainable development and makes the following solemn commitments to the society. 遵守法律法规，承担企业责任，珍惜资源，优先采用先进的技术，落实污染预防，减少环境影响，实现清洁生产，以卓越的环境绩效践行“惟有最好”的品牌理念，以永不停息的创新精神，引领汽车发展方向，创建环境和谐企业。 BBAC will comply with laws and regulations, fulfill its social responsibilities, cherish resources, give priority to the use of advanced technologies, prevent pollution, reduce environmental impacts, achieve cleaner production, practice "the best or nothing" brand philosophy with superior environmental performance, set the trend of automotive development with continuous innovation, and build a environment-friendly enterprise. 为此，我们每位北京奔驰员工都应该树立节约资源、保护环境的意识，树立全面、协调、可持续的科学发展观，自觉地从自己做起，从身边做起，从小事做起，为保护和改善环境做出应有的贡献。为此，我们向全体奔驰员工提出如下倡议： Therefore, every BBAC employee shall have the awareness of resource saving and environmental protection, build up the complete, balance and sustainable view of science development. Environmental protection should start from ourselves, from everything around us and from the tiny things and make our own contribution to protect the environment. Hereby, we put forward the following suggestions to all employees: 1、自觉保护工作和生活环境，积极参与公司环保活动； 1、Protect working and living environment consciously and participate in company environmental protection activities actively; 2、节约使用水资源； 2、Saving water resource; 3、夏天空调温度设定在26℃以上，下班离开时随手关灯，减少空调、电灯用量； 3. The air conditioner’s temperature should be set at 26℃ and above and turn off lights when you leaving to saving energy consumption; 4、较长时间不使用电脑时，请关闭电源； 4. Please turn off the computer if you will leave for a long time; 5、提倡电子办公，尽量减少纸张使用； 5、To promote paperless office and reduce paper use; 6、节省用纸，必要时才打印，尽量双面使用； 6. Saving paper, please don't print out any thing unless it's really necessary; Double-sided printing is much encouraged; 7、物尽其用，减少垃圾的产生； 7. Make the best use of everything and reduce waste generation; 8、坚持垃圾分类，避免垃圾混放。 8、Insist on waste sorting and avoid waste mixing. 让我们一起积极行动起来，为建设绿色企业尽自己的一分力量。养成节约资源、保护环境的意识和良好的行为习惯，充分发挥我们每位员工的宣传、监督和带动作用，让更多的人加入到我们的环保行动中，让我们携手同心善待环境。 Let’s get moving together to make our contribution for developing a green company. We should have the awareness of resource saving and environmental protection. Furthermore, we should play a leading role, let more and more people join us, together we can protect our environment.
