BEIJING BENZ AUTOMOTIVE Signs Three-year Sponsorship Agreement with CHINA OPEN On August 28, the official press conference of 2012 CHINA OPEN has been held at Beijing KERRY HOTEL. The official signing ceremony between BEIJING BENZ AUTOMOTIVE CO., LTD and CHINA OPEN PROMOTION LIMITED has marked BEIJING BENZ’s chief sponsor status of CHINA OPEN for the sixth consecutive years. Under the three-year Sponsorship Agreement, BEIJING BENZ shall continue to support the sports event as the chief sponsor. Guests as Mr. Frank Deiss, BEIJING BENZ President & CEO, Mr. Cai Suping, Deputy General Manager of BAIC Group, Senior Executive Vice President of BEIJING BENZ and Party Secretary and Mr. Li Hongpeng, BEIJING BENZ Executive Vice President and officials from Beijing Municipal Government, Chinese Tennis Association and Organizing Committee of CHINA OPEN amongst others have all attended the news conference and signing ceremony. During his keynote speech, Mr. Chang Yu, Deputy Director of Organizing Committee of CHINA OPEN and Secretary of Beijing Youth League Committee and Municipal Party Committee, has delivered his overall commendation and accreditation to BEIJING BENZ in the development of tennis in China on behalf of the Organizing Committee of CHINA OPEN. Meanwhile, his special appreciation has also been forwarded to BEIJING BENZ and a number of other sponsors for their substantial supports. Mr. Frank Deiss, BEIJING BENZ President & CEO has delivered the vehicles to the Organizing Committee of CHINA OPEN in person by driving out the Mercedes-Benz GLK, the first SUV manufactured by BEIJING BENZ, and exchanged gifts with leaders of CHINA OPEN Organizing Committee. Ms. Yan Zi, a Chinese tennis superstar and two-time Grand Slam Champion winner, unexpectedly showed herself to the stage by the Mercedes-Benz GLK, a luxurious SUV product of BEIJING BENZ. The 2012 CHINA OPEN shall officially begin on September 23, during which tennis elites from all over the world shall again create the spectacular of professional tennis in China at the Diamond Arena of China National Tennis Center.
