[September 26, 2020, Beijing] The 2020 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition was held at the China International Exhibition Center today. The broad Mercedes-Benz portfolio locally built at Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. (BBAC), a key player of the high-quality development of Beijing’s automotive industry, was presented at the event. The portfolio on display included the locally-produced new-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class L, just launched the day before, attracting extensive media attention and attendee interest with its upgraded technologies.

With 0 confirmed, 0 suspected, and 0 infected cases, BBAC started production of new vehicles including all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA SUV and the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class L, and manufactured its three millionth locally-produced engine and three millionth completed vehicle, marking a new stage of Mercedes-Benz’s local production.
